From Military to Crimson Shield

Richard Rosero (CEO), an 18 year old starting his last year of high school was brought into the Essex County Marine Corps Recruiting Station, where on that first day he saw and met a face that would become just as important to his journey, Larry Herrera (COO), 19 years old, waiting for his recruiter to finish his paperwork. It was at that moment these two men stood at the precipice of a future they could not yet see but felt in their hearts- a future that would change not only their own lives, but the lives of countless others. Both shared their allure and unbreakable desire to serve their country to both become infantrymen, both forging a connection in a short period of time. Both being young men wanting to prove themselves in a world that often felt indifferent. Both then eventually enlisted on the same day, pledging their lives to something greater than themselves. Richard and Larry swore the oath of enlistment side by side, the weight of their commitment settling over them as they embarked on a journey that would forever change their lives, forging them into the durable men they've become today. 4 years later, Richard and Larry had seen and experienced things that would forever shape who they are.

Through all the hardship and experience, they're brotherhood and commitment to one another never wavered. Over countless phone calls and late-night conversations, they began to imagine a future beyond the military. They knew that the skills and experiences they had gained as Marines-discipline, leadership, teamwork, and the unwavering desire to protect those around them- could be the foundation of something even greater, to make a difference.

The seeds of Crimson Shield were then planted. The name was chosen with care– a symbol of strength, protection and resilience. They would build a team that not only provided security, but also embodied the values and principles Richard and Larry learned. Crimson Shield stands as a testament to the vision and determination of two young men, alongside their talented team, who once walked into a recruiting station on a quiet day, unsure of what the future held. What they didn't know was that their shared commitment to something greater than themselves would lead them to build not just a business, but a legacy. Their journey wasn't just about becoming marines. It was about becoming men who could build, protect, and lead with integrity. And in doing so, they gave back to the community that had shaped them, just as they had once pledged to do.
